1. A stator for a rotating electric machine, the stator comprising:
a stator core defining a plurality of slots; and
a stator coil coupled to the stator core and comprising a plurality of hairpins that are electrically connected to each other and inserted into the slots in a preset pattern,
wherein the plurality of hairpins include voltage distribution hairpins that are disposed at a voltage distribution section of the stator, the voltage distribution section being positioned radially away from a power input part of the stator,
wherein the voltage distribution hairpins include a plurality of first protruding parts and a plurality of second protruding parts that each protrude axially away from the stator core, corresponding ones of the first and second protruding parts being electrically coupled to each other to form a plurality of coil pairs,
wherein an insulating member is disposed between the first protruding parts and the second protruding parts to thereby provide electrical insulation between the first protruding parts and the second protruding parts that are not electrically coupled to each other,
wherein a first protruding part of the plurality of first protruding parts and a second protruding part of the plurality of second protruding parts protrude from different ones of the plurality of slots, the first protruding part and the second protruding part corresponding to each other to form one of the plurality of coil pairs,
wherein the plurality of coil pairs are spaced apart from each other along a circumferential direction of the stator core,
wherein the first protruding part that forms the one of the plurality of coil pairs comprises:
a first inclined portion extending in a first circumferential direction of the stator core at a predetermined angle relative to an axial side surface of the stator, and
a first wire connection portion extending from one end of the first inclined portion away from the plurality of slots,
wherein the second protruding part that forms the one of the plurality of coil pairs comprises:
a second inclined portion extending in a second circumferential direction of the stator core opposite the first circumferential direction at a predetermined angle relative to the axial side surface of the stator core, and
a second wire connection portion (i) extending from one end of the second inclined portion in a direction away from the plurality of slots and (ii) being electrically coupled to the first wire connection portion, and
wherein the first inclined portion of the one of the plurality of coil pairs forms an overlap region by partially overlapping a second inclined portion of another of the plurality of coil pairs along a radial direction of the stator core.
