1. A method performed by a computer program executing on a computing device associated with an individual that has a chronic health condition, the method comprising:
receiving location data that indicates a physical location of the individual from a source external to the computer program; and
presenting, based on the location data, an interface that includes—
(i) a virtual scene with a graphical element that is indicative of (a) a physical location of the individual, (b) a weather condition at the physical location, or (c) an object in proximity to the individual, and
(ii) a virtual sidekick that recommends an action to assist the individual in managing the chronic health condition in the virtual scene.
