22. A device for testing a timepiece shaft comprising at least one first pivot and an axis of rotation, the device comprising:
a rest comprising two supports intended to accommodate the timepiece shaft, at least one of the two supports being intended to accommodate the at least one first pivot, and
an element for applying a mechanical force to the timepiece shaft, positioned so that the mechanical force is at least partially taken up by the support at the at least one first pivot,
wherein the element for applying the mechanical force is arranged so that the timepiece shaft is driven in rotation by a relative movement of the element for applying a mechanical force and the rest, wherein the relative movement is a rolling movement without sliding of the timepiece shaft on the element for applying the mechanical force.
