1. An oral care implement comprising:
a handle;
a head coupled to the handle, the head comprising a cavity and an outer surface;
a power source;
a first electrical pathway located within the cavity and connected to the power source;
a second electrical pathway located within the cavity and connected to the power source; and
a plurality of conductive protrusions electrically connected to the power source via the first and second electrical pathways, the plurality of conductive protrusions extending from the head, each of the conductive protrusions comprising a base that is proximate to the head and a distal end opposite the base that is spaced from the head;
wherein the plurality of conductive protrusions extend from the cavity of the head to the outer surface of the head; and
wherein the head has a front surface and an opposite rear surface, wherein a plurality of tooth cleaning elements extend from the front surface of the head and wherein the plurality of conductive protrusions extend from the rear surface of the head.
