1. A computer-implemented method of rendering a patient's gingiva, the computer-implemented method comprising:
capturing a first 2D image of a patient's face, including their teeth and gingiva;
building a parametric model of the patient's gingiva based on the first 2D image, wherein the parametric model comprises patient-specific input parameters of the patient's gingiva;
aligning coordinates of the patient-specific parameters of the patient's gingiva; and
rendering a second 2D image of the patient's face with teeth and gingiva based on the aligned coordinates of the patient's gingiva.
