1. A suture anchor comprising:
an anchor body having a longitudinal axis, a proximal end, and a distal end, wherein the anchor body defines a first central bore located at the proximal end and having a first dimension measured substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, a second central bore located at the distal end and having a second dimension measured substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and a passage extending between the first and second central bores and having a third dimension measured substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis that is less than both the first and second dimensions; and
a flexible strand forming a knot positionable in the second central bore with a fourth dimension greater than the third dimension to prevent the knot from passing through the passage;
wherein the flexible strand extends from the knot through the passage to the first central bore and is configured to form a closed loop positionable at least partially within the first central bore, and wherein the passage extends radially away from the longitudinal axis by a distance that is greater than a thickness of a first segment of the flexible strand that extends through the passage such that the entire first segment of the flexible strand that extends through the passage is configured to be spaced apart from the longitudinal axis.
