25 Claims

1. A composition comprising propanoic acid, a C₄acid salt and a component selected from a C₂-C₅acid ester and a C₂-C₈aldehyde and combinations thereof, said composition in an aqueous medium and said composition comprising a pH greater than about 4.4.
