1. A battery device comprising:
a tubular outer packaging having an upper side wall, a lower side wall, and two outer side walls;
at least one battery cell group disposed between the two outer side walls of the outer packaging, and configured by a plurality of battery cells laminated in a length direction of the outer packaging;
a first temperature-adjusting medium flow path provided to least one of the two outer side walls of the outer packaging; and
a retaining mechanism which causes the battery cell group to contact the outer side wall having the first temperature-adjusting medium flow path in a heat exchangeable manner, and retains the battery cell group within the outer packaging, by applying pressure in a direction pressing towards the outer side wall having the first temperature-adjusting medium flow path from a side opposite to the outer side wall having the first temperature-adjusting medium flow path, against the battery cell group within the outer packaging,
wherein the first temperature-adjusting medium flow path is provided to each of two of the outer side wall,
wherein a plurality of the battery cells groups is disposed in parallel between the two outer side walls in the outer packaging, and
wherein the retaining mechanism is disposed between the plurality of the battery cell groups, and applies pressure against the plurality of battery cell groups in a direction separating the battery cell groups and pressing towards the two outer side walls which are opposing.
