1. A method comprising using at least one hardware processor of a server system to, for each of a plurality of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) files:
receive the DICOM file, wherein the DICOM file comprises medical image data and metadata, and wherein the metadata comprise one or more fields in a header of the DICOM file;
search the one or more fields of the metadata in the header of the DICOM file to identify a telephone number of a mobile phone;
convert the medical image data into an output format for the mobile phone based on the telephone number identified in the header of the DICOM file;
generate a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) message that comprises the converted medical image data in the output format, based on message layout rules for MMS and a page metaphor, wherein the page metaphor indicates each page contain one image or video and at least one corresponding text or audio element; and
send the MMS message to the telephone number of the mobile phone.
