1. An authorization control network comprising:
a transactions database storing an available credit amount in association with an account identifier;
a card profile database storing at least one record, the at least one record including an account attribute and the account identifier;
a limit profile database storing at least one limit profile, the at least one limit profile including a current limit value and the account identifier; and
at least one computer server, wherein the at least one computer server is configured to:
receive a first cardholder credential and a first profile modification request from a communications device;
determine the account attribute from the at least one record;
determine from the account attribute that the at least one limit profile is linked to a cardholder credential other than the first cardholder credential;
reject the first profile modification request;
receive an authorization request from a point-of-sale device, the authorization request including the account identifier and an authorization value;
determine that the authorization value does not exceed the current limit value saved in the at least one limit profile and does not exceed the available credit amount associated with the account identifier in the transactions database;
generate an authorization response confirming authorization of the authorization value; and
transmit the authorization response to the point-of-sale device.
