1. A method comprising:
receiving a trip request, the trip request including a current location of a user requesting a trip, a meeting location for the trip, and a request time;
identifying a set of points of interest at or within a threshold distance of the current location;
scoring each point of interest of the set of points of interest, a score representing a relative value of displaying each point of interest based on an ability of the point of interest to assist in orientation or navigation from the current location to the meeting location, the scoring comprising:
determining an amount of trips that begin or end at a point of interest within a threshold amount of time of the request time, and
scoring a point of interest associated with a greater amount of trips within the threshold amount of time higher relative to a point of interest associated with a fewer amount of trips; and
modifying a user interface to display a map, the map showing an area including one or more points of interest based on the scoring.
