A culture containing ergothioneine obtained by a microorganism belonging to Dirkmeia churashimaensis (Accession No. NITE BP-03054), a microorganism belonging to Papiliotrema flavescens (Accession No. NITE BP-03051), a microorganism belonging to Papiliotrema flavescens (Accession No. NITE BP-03052), or a microorganism belonging to Apiotrichum porosum (Accession No. NITE BP-03053).
