1. A method of treating a human [ mammalian ] subject suffering from graft versus host disease (GvHD) comprising administering to the human [ mammalian ] subject a therapeutically effective amount of at least one peptide selected from the group consisting of:
(a) a peptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2, and
(b) a peptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 4.
