1. A data retransmission method, performed by a target node and comprising:
obtaining a mapping relationship between General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) tunnelling protocol user plane (GTP-U) sequence numbers of N data packets sent by a source node and source packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) sequence numbers assigned to the N data packets by the source node, wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to 1; and
performing data retransmission based on the mapping relationship;
wherein before the performing data retransmission based on the mapping relationship, the method further comprises:
receiving, from a terminal, reception status indication information of the terminal for a data packet sent by the source node, wherein the reception status indication information is used to indicate a source PDCP sequence number of at least one first data packet, and the first data packet is a data packet that has not been received by the terminal before node switching; and
the performing retransmission based on the mapping relationship comprises:
performing data transmission based on the source PDCP sequence number of the at least one first data packet and the mapping relationship.
