1. A display device comprising:
a base;
pixels arrayed in a display area;
a first common electrode in the display area; and
a second common electrode in the display area, wherein
the second common electrode is located next to the first common electrode and is separated from the first common electrode in a first direction,
the display area includes a corner portion,
the first common electrode includes a first edge formed in a step shaped pattern along the corner portion,
the second common electrode includes a second edge formed in a step shaped pattern along the corner portion, and
a length of the step shaped pattern of the first edge is longer than a length of the step shaped pattern of the second edge.
