a charger configured to charge a battery pack accommodated within the battery swapping apparatus;
a discharger configured to discharge the battery pack;
a sensor configured to measure state information of the battery pack; and
a controller configured to, in response a state of charge of the battery pack reaching a predetermined reference value:
stop operation of the charger;
control the discharger to operate; and
acquire the state information of the battery pack in a discharged state; and
upon acquisition of the state information of the battery pack in the discharged state, and prior to calculating an impedance of the battery pack from the acquired state information of the battery pack in the discharged state, control the charger to resume charging until the battery pack is fully charged.
