1. A method comprising:
(a) providing a substrate comprising a plurality of nucleic acid molecules each having (i) a first sequence configured to bind a target biological molecule in a tissue section, and (ii) a second sequence corresponding to a location on the substrate;
(b) contacting the tissue section with the substrate;
(c) capturing the target biological molecule from the tissue section onto a nucleic acid molecule of the plurality of nucleic acid molecules using the first sequence; and
(d) generating a nucleic acid molecule comprising (i) a sequence of the captured target biological molecule, or a complement thereof, and (ii) the second sequence corresponding to the location on the substrate, or a complement thereof.
