1. A method for treatment of myocardial infarction, ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy, myocarditis or heart failure, comprising administering a microRNA selected from the group consisting of:
hsa-miR-1825 (SEQ ID NO: 35);
hsa-miR-33b*(SEQ ID NO: 10);
hsa-miR-1248 (SEQ ID NO: 33),
or a primary transcript for such microRNA, or a precursor of such microRNA, or a mimic of such microRNA or a combination thereof.
