1. A roofing system comprising:
a roof substrate;
a roofing membrane; and
an adhesive formulation between the roof substrate and the roofing membrane,
wherein the adhesive formulation comprises;
a high viscosity silyl modified polymer having a viscosity of 20,000 cP or higher as measured according to ASTM D2196 using a Brookfield viscometer spindle number 6, at 20 rpm and 23° C.; and
a moisture scavenger,
wherein a weight ratio of the moisture scavenger to the high viscosity silyl modified polymer is 1:20 to 1:2;
wherein, when aged for 28 days at 50° C., the adhesive formulation has a test viscosity, as measured using a Brookfield viscometer spindle number 6 at 20 rpm and at 23° C., that is within +40% of the initial viscosity.
