1. A magnet plate system for use in isolating a macromolecule from a mixture in one or more vessels, wherein the magnet plate comprises:
a. at least one magnet, wherein each of the at least one magnet is made from an amount of a magnetic material, and has a first end and a second end, wherein each of the at least one magnet comprises:
i. an inner core made from a portion of the magnetic material, wherein the portion of the magnetic material of the inner core has an amount ranging from about 10% to about 30% of the amount of the magnetic material of the magnet;
ii. one or more cavities at or near the first end, the second end, or both, wherein the one or more cavities extend toward the inner core; and
iii. one or more portions of a cavity wall, wherein the one or more cavities each have a portion of the cavity wall configured to form a magnetic field within the vessel when the vessel is in use and placed at the first end or the second end; and
b. a support adapted to receive the at least one magnet, wherein the support further comprises:
i. a top plate adapted to receive the at least one magnet;
ii. a support plate to support the at least one magnet, wherein an affinity exists between the support plate and the at least one magnet; and
iii. a base plate in communication with the top plate.
