1. A method comprising:
obtaining a current data portion;
generating an encoded current data portion;
quantizing the encoded current data portion at a plurality of different bitrates to generate a plurality of quantized data portions;
generating a plurality of data packets, wherein each of the plurality of data packets contains at least one quantized data portion of the plurality of quantized data portions, wherein a first data packet of the plurality of data packets contains a first quantized data portion of the plurality of quantized data portions as current quantized data and a second data packet of the plurality of data packets contains a second quantized data portion of the plurality of quantized data portions as redundant quantized data; and
providing the plurality of data packets to a receiver.
