1. A system for monitoring provision of negative pressure wound therapy, comprising:
a directional microphone configured to be positioned at a first location proximate a dressing covering a wound and configured to be connected, via a fluid flow path, to a negative pressure source configured to provide a negative pressure wound therapy to the wound, the microphone configured to sense at the first location a first sound pressure wave propagating from the dressing, the microphone further configured to generate a first signal based on the first sound pressure wave propagating from the dressing; and
a controller configured to receive from the microphone and process the first signal to determine a first status of provision of the negative pressure wound therapy at the first location and provide a first indication of the first status at the first location.
