1. A power generation system comprising:
a roller;
an end cap fixedly connected to the roller,
wherein the end cap is configured to be operably engaged with a material handling system;
a plurality of magnets disposed on or within the end cap; and
a pick-up assembly comprising one or more pick-up coils,
wherein the pick-up assembly is configured to be operably engaged with the end cap and the material handling system,
wherein the roller is configured to rotate such that the plurality of magnets rotate relative to the material handling system and generate a magnetic flux configured to intersect the one or more pick-up coils and thereby generate a current.
