1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device, a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) used to map transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states to codepoints, wherein a TCI field of downlink control information (DCI) indicates a codepoint of the codepoints;
receiving a first DCI scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), wherein:
a first time offset between a reception of the first DCI and a reception of the PDSCH is equal to, or greater than, a first threshold; and
a first codepoint, of a first TCI field in the first DCI, indicates two TCI states among the TCI states;
receiving a second DCI comprising a channel state information (CSI) request field indicating an aperiodic trigger state, wherein a second time offset between a last symbol of a PDCCH carrying the second DCI and a first symbol of an aperiodic CSI-RS resource associated with the aperiodic trigger state is less than a second threshold; and
based on the aperiodic CSI-RS resource and the PDSCH overlapping in one or more symbols, applying a first reference signal indicated by a first TCI state of the two TCI states when receiving an aperiodic CSI-RS via the aperiodic CSI-RS resource.
