1. A method for improving cold tolerance of plants, wherein a transgenic plant is obtained by introducing a tomato glutaredoxin SIGRXC9 gene into a target plant using a recombinant expression vector; the cold tolerance of the transgenic plant is improved; and a nucleotide sequence of the SIGRXC9 gene is shown as SEQ ID NO. 1.
