1. An aqueous inkjet ink comprising a compound functionalized with at least two functional groups selected from the group consisting of a primary amine and a secondary amine, a colorant, and a polymeric particle comprising an oligomer or polymer having at least 3 repeating units comprising a functional group according to Formula I, II, or III:

R2 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group, and COR3, or R1 and R2 may represent the necessary atoms to form a five to eight membered ring;
R3 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group, OR4, and NR5R6;
R4 is selected from the group consisting of a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group;
R5 and R6 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group, or R5 and R6 may represent the necessary atoms to form a five to eight membered ring;
X is selected from the group consisting of O and NR7;
R7 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group; and
R8 and R9 are each independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkynyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, and a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heteroaryl group, or R8 and R9 may represent the necessary atoms to form a five to eight membered ring.
