1. A cargo container comprising a hollow shell formed of a plurality of rigid metal panels each extending along a longitudinal axis of the hollow shell, wherein adjacent pairs of the panels are joined at respective abutting longitudinal edges, extending parallel to the longitudinal axis, by single final welds and are free of tack welds, wherein a transverse cross section of the hollow shell orthogonal to the longitudinal axis has an obround shape.
