1. A system, comprising:
an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV);
a computing system configured to establish a coordinate system in a space exterior to an aircraft in a global positioning system (GPS) denied environment;
a controller configured to navigate the UAV along a flight path proximate to a surface of the aircraft according to the established coordinate system;
a camera configured to obtain image data; and
a light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensor configured to obtain LiDAR sensor data of an inspection location on the surface to determine a presence of damage, wherein the aircraft is designated as an origin for the coordinate system.
