1. A driving assistance apparatus comprising one or more processors configured to:
execute first deceleration assistance for a driver's vehicle in accordance with information on a first object that is detected ahead of the driver's vehicle;
display a deceleration assistance display while the first deceleration assistance is executed; and
in response to terminating the first deceleration assistance in accordance with information on the first object:
determine whether a second object is detected ahead of the driver's vehicle;
upon determination that the second object is detected ahead of the driver's vehicle, determine a time that second deceleration assistance for the driver's vehicle will be executed based on a distance between the second object and the driver's vehicle and a relative speed between the second object and the driver's vehicle;
(i) execute a change for a display mode of the deceleration assistance display in response to the time that the second deceleration assistance for the driver's vehicle will be executed being greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold; and
(ii) suppress the change in response to the time that the second deceleration assistance for the driver's vehicle will be executed being less than the predetermined threshold.
