7 Claims

1. A method for dyeing keratinous material, comprising the following steps:

applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material, the agent (a) comprising an organic silicon compound, wherein the organic silicon compound comprises a compound of formula (IV);

R₉Si(OR₁₀)_k(R₁₁)m (IV),

wherein

R₉stands for a C₁-C₁₈alkyl group,

R₁₀represents a hydrogen atom or a C₁-C₆alkyl group,

R11 represents a C₁-C₆alkyl group,

k is an integer from 1 to 3, and

m stands for the integer 3-k, and

applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material, wherein the agent (b) comprises:

(b1) a colorant compound comprising a lenticular substrate platelet-based pigment, and

(b2) a film-forming polymer.
