an agitator configured to rotate about a pivot axis, the agitator comprising:
an elongated body having a first and a second end; and
a flap extending from the first end towards the second end, having a flap height extending outward from the elongated body and a flap width perpendicular to the pivot axis; and
a first end cap disposed at the first end of the elongated body, the first end cap including a recess having first and second sidewalls defining an opening therebetween, with a portion of the flap positioned within the recess, the recess having a recess width perpendicular to the pivot axis, the recess width being smaller than the diameter of the elongated body and greater than the flap width along the entire radial height of the recess, such that at least one of the first and second sidewalls of the recess is spaced from the flap.
