1. A method for removing a spinal cord from a deceased animal, the method comprising:
perforating a skull of the deceased animal by creating a perforation in the skull, the perforation leading into a cranial cavity of the deceased animal;
removing a brain from the cranial cavity of the deceased animal through the perforation in the skull;
inserting a tube comprising a nozzle through the perforation in the skull and into a spinal cavity of the deceased animal, wherein the tube is connected to a water source, and wherein the nozzle is configured to direct water rearwardly;
creating at least a backflow of water toward the cranial cavity via the tube; and
removing, using the tube, a spinal cord from the spinal cavity of the deceased animal.
