1. An information processing apparatus comprising:
a processor and a memory, the processor and the memory being configured to function as a plurality of units comprising:
(1) a determination unit configured to determine arrangement of a vertex group on a basis of first information related to characteristics of an imaging apparatus and second information related to characteristics of a lens that is mountable to the imaging apparatus; and
(2) a generation unit configured to generate data of a mesh group based on a vertex group in the arrangement determined by the determination unit,
wherein the determination unit determines the arrangement in which an interval between vertices becomes an interval in accordance with a projection method of the lens.
