1. A method comprising:
receiving, by one or more processors in a first region, first data from a first source device;
placing, by the one or more processors, first information included in the first data in a write queue located in the first region and associated with a first parallel file system (PFS), the first PFS located in a region remote to the first region; and
sending via one-way casting, by the one or more processors, at least the first information from the write queue to the first PFS via an RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) write.
