1. A chiller comprising:
a compressor that compresses a refrigerant;
a condenser that condenses the refrigerant compressed by the compressor;
an expander that expands the refrigerant condensed by the condenser;
a liquid film evaporator that evaporates the refrigerant expanded by the expander;
an eductor that uses a pressure difference between an inlet and an outlet to suck the refrigerant stored in the evaporator,
an auxiliary pump that supplies the refrigerant stored in the evaporator to a discharge passage of the eductor is provided, and
a control device that controls an operation of the auxiliary pump according to a storage amount of the refrigerant stored in the evaporator is provided;
wherein the control device operates the auxiliary pump in a case in which the storage amount of the refrigerant liquid of the liquid film evaporator is preset and exceeds the upper storage amount, and stops the operation of the auxiliary pump in a case in which the storage amount of the refrigerant liquid of the liquid film evaporator falls below a preset lower limit storage amount.
