1. A circuit, comprising:
an auxiliary circuit implemented using a metal layer in a chip and operated using a bias current; and
a current generator circuit comprising a metal resistor implemented as a trace using the metal layer, wherein the current generator circuit is configured to:
generate the bias current utilizing the metal resistor; and
adjust a value of the metal resistor in response to a change in a metal wiring resistance associated with the metal layer to adjust the bias current.
