1. A method of adapter orchestration as a service (AOaaS) comprising using at least one hardware processor to:
receive a selection of one or more adapters from a catalog;
add the selected one or more adapters to an adapter set that comprises a plurality of adapters, wherein each of the plurality of adapters communicates with a respective service, among a plurality of services, and translates data between a domain-specific format of the respective service and a standard internal format, and wherein each of the plurality of adapters communicates with a different respective service than any of the other plurality of adapters; and
deploy the adapter set, including an adapter instance of each of the plurality of adapters, within an adapter orchestration service to at least one destination system, wherein each adapter instance is a discrete, fully autonomous, portable unit of compute and memory, and wherein the adapter orchestration service comprises a first application programming interface that comprises one or more functions for interacting with the data, in the standard internal format, for all of the plurality of adapters for all of the plurality of services.
