1. An integrated circuit (IC) chip comprising a processor-based system, the processor-based system comprising:
first digital processing circuits configured to operate in response to a clock signal and a throttle control signal;
a first throttle request accumulation circuit comprising:
throttle request circuits configured to provide throttle values based on throttle requests received in the cycle of the clock signal;
wherein the first throttle request accumulation circuit is configured to:
receive the throttle values generated in each of the throttle request circuits; and
in each cycle of the clock signal, generate the throttle control signal based on the received throttle values.
