1. A tyrosine-reactive compound having a structure of the formula:

wherein:
G2 is selected from phenyl, pyridyl, thiophenyl, and substituted phenyl; and
G4 is selected from the group consisting of cycloalkyl, phenyl, naphthyl, substituted naphthyl, pyridyl, substituted pyridyl, and substituted phenyl.
