1. A method comprising:
drilling an interval of a wellbore with a non-aqueous wellbore fluid, wherein the interval of the wellbore traverses a subterranean formation, and wherein the non-aqueous wellbore fluid produces a filter cake in the interval of the wellbore;
gravel packing the interval of the wellbore with a gravel pack that includes a non-aqueous gravel pack carrier fluid, proppants, and degradable polyester particles, wherein at least a portion of the proppants have a specific gravity of about 2.0 and are coated with a degradable polyester coating, and wherein the degradable polyester particles are present at about 5% by weight of the proppants;
introducing a filter cake breaker fluid system into the wellbore, wherein the filter cake breaker fluid system includes a degradable polyester;
hydrolyzing the degradable polyester of the filter cake breaker fluid system to decrease the pH of the gravel pack and cause the non-aqueous gravel pack carrier fluid to revert to a water-wet state; and
degrading, using the filter cake breaker fluid system and after the non-aqueous gravel pack carrier fluid has reverted to the water-wet state, at least a portion of the filter cake.
