1. A system, comprising a sampling device configured to simultaneously filter and introduce a sample fluid into the system,
wherein the sampling device comprises an intake tube through which the sample fluid is introduced into the system,
wherein the intake tube comprises:
a first end operably connected to the system and an intake end through which the sample fluid enters said intake tube; and
a filter element at the intake end having a first dimension configured to block particulate matter present in the sample fluid as said sample fluid enters the intake tube;
wherein the system further comprises an electrically grounded partitioner configured to generate a plurality of partitions of the sample fluid in a continuous phase.
