1. A virtual object control method, comprising:
determining whether a target virtual object in a target state is located in a range of a skill of a controlled virtual object in a virtual scene;
in response to determining that the target virtual object in the target state is located in the range of the skill of the controlled virtual object, displaying a cast direction or a cast location of the skill based on positions of the controlled virtual object and the target virtual object in the virtual scene; and
in response to a determination that a state of the target virtual object has changed from the target state to another state, displaying the cast direction or cast location according to a position of the target virtual object prior to state change.
