1. A base station comprising:
a memory storing instructions; and
at least one processor configured to process the instructions to:
transmit, to a user equipment (UE), first information and second information,
the first information indicating a starting subframe configuration for a search space for a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) and being used for giving a parameter G,
the second information indicating maximum numbers of repetitions for the search space for the PDCCH and being used for giving a parameter rmax, wherein
a starting subframe, for the search space, is determined as a subframe satisfying a condition of (10nf+└ns/2┘) mod T=0, where
nf corresponds to a system frame number,
ns corresponds to a slot number, and
T=rmax·G.
