1. A method for placing a heart valve therapeutic device across a patient's native heart valve, the method comprising:
delivering a prosthetic in a collapsed state to a heart chamber, the prosthetic coupled to a support;
deploying the prosthetic in the heart chamber;
deflecting the support to direct the prosthetic towards a site of a native heart valve;
moving a portion of the support to move the prosthetic to within the site of the native heart valve; and
expanding a stent to anchor the support, such that the prosthetic is implanted and retained within the site of the native heart valve,
wherein a tube extends through, and is fixed to, the stent and receives the support such that axial and/or rotational movement of the prosthetic is permitted relative to the stent via the support.
