1. A photoelectric conversion device comprising:
a pixel array unit in which a plurality of pixels each including a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements are arranged to form a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns; and
a control circuit configured to control the plurality of pixels on a row-by-row basis,
wherein each of the plurality of pixels is configured to be capable of outputting a first signal according to an amount of charge generated by a first number of photoelectric conversion elements among the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements and a second signal according to an amount of charge generated by a second number of photoelectric conversion elements among the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements which is greater than the first number,
wherein the control circuit is configured to
perform a first reset operation of resetting the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements and a first readout operation of reading out the second signal on pixels arranged in a first row among the plurality of rows, and
perform a second reset operation of resetting the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements, a second readout operation of reading out the first signal, and a third readout operation for reading out the second signal on pixels arranged in a second row among the plurality of rows,
wherein each of the first reset operation, the first readout operation, the second reset operation, the second readout operation, and the third readout operation is performed during one of a plurality of consecutive periods of the same length, and
wherein the control circuit is configured to perform a third reset operation of resetting the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements on pixels in any one row of the plurality of rows in a period one before a period during which the second reset operation is performed among the plurality of periods.
