1. A system, comprising:
a first terminal of a first user;
a second terminal of a second user; and
a back-end server, including:
a network interface; and
processing circuitry configured to:
send, via the network interface that is communicatively coupled to the processing circuitry, electronic information to a first messaging application of the first user, the electronic information being displayed in an electronic information interface of the first messaging application that is different from a messaging interface of the first messaging application;
send, via the network interface, the electronic information to a second messaging application on a second terminal of the second user based on receipt of a request by the first user via the electronic information interface to share the electronic information with the second user, the second user being associated with the first user in a messaging service;
receive usage information that indicates the second user has performed a redemption function according to the electronic information;
detect that the second user is logged into the second messaging application on the second terminal and has performed the redemption function according to a virtual reward policy associated with the electronic information and the usage information;
generate a virtual reward notification based on (i) the usage information that indicates the second user has performed the redemption function according to the electronic information, and (ii) a virtual reward template of a plurality of reward templates that is determined according to the usage information to be associated with the electronic information, the virtual reward template defining at least one parameter of a virtual reward associated with the electronic information;
send, via the network interface, the generated virtual reward notification to the first messaging application, the virtual reward notification including a uniform resource identifier (URI) that links to virtual reward information of the virtual reward, an envelope and a graphical element to open the envelope being displayed in a notification interface of the first messaging application based on the virtual reward notification, and the virtual reward notification indicating usage of the electronic information to the first messaging application; and
send, via the network interface, the virtual reward information to the first messaging application in response to an asynchronous request to receive the virtual reward from the first messaging application via the URI, the asynchronous request being generated by the first messaging application based on the URI that links to the virtual reward information when the graphical element in the virtual reward notification is selected by the first user.
