1. A sensor, comprising:
a plurality of pairs of electrodes; and
a plurality of nanowires,
wherein for greater than or equal to 10% and less than or equal to 90% of the pairs of electrodes making up the plurality of pairs of electrodes, the pair of electrodes are in electrical communication with each other by exactly one nanowire in the plurality of nanowires.
