A method of treating a glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deregulated disorder in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of oleanolic acid, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or a prodrug thereof to the subject, wherein the G6PD deregulated disorder is BCL2 associated athanogene myofibrillar myopathy Bag3opathy).
