1. A patient litter basket spin control assembly comprising:
a base of the litter basket;
a plurality of sidewalls extending perpendicular from the base of the litter basket to form a patient space for containing a patient;
a first gyroscope disposed at least partially within a first sidewall of the litter basket and comprising a first flywheel rotatably mounted to a second gimbal, which is rotatably mounted to a first gimbal, which is rotatably mounted to a first frame such that the first flywheel is rotatable in three dimensions;
a second gyroscope disposed at least partially within a second sidewall of the litter basket and comprising a second flywheel rotatably mounted to a fourth gimbal, which is rotatably mounted to a third gimbal, which is rotatably mounted to a second frame such that the second flywheel is rotatable in three dimensions; and
a motion sensor for sensing an angular acceleration of the patient litter basket, the first gyroscope configured to rotate the first flywheel about a first flywheel rotation axis and the second gyroscope to rotate the second flywheel about a second flywheel rotation axis to generate a gyroscopic torque as a counter torque in a rotational direction to slow the angular acceleration of the patient litter basket.
