1. A method, comprising:
initiating a random access channel (RACH) procedure in a wireless communication network;
configuring a Message A physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission;
determining whether uplink control information (UCI) can be multiplexed with the Message A PUSCH;
determining that the Message A PUSCH transmission and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission in a PUCCH group are overlapping; and
transmitting at least one of the Message A PUSCH or the PUCCH in the PUCCH group based on a priority rule or the determination of whether the UCI can be multiplexed with the Message A PUSCH, or both, wherein the priority rule comprises at least one of:
transmitting the Message A PUSCH in response to the UCI being multiplexed and a timeline requirement being satisfied,
transmitting the at least one of the Message A PUSCH or the PUCCH in the PUCCH group in response to the UCI not being multiplexed or a timeline requirement not being satisfied, or
transmitting the at least one of the Message A PUSCH or the PUCCH in the PUCCH group based on a type of the UCI in response to a timeline requirement being satisfied.
